Mike Bravo Ops: Rogue Book Review

Mike Bravo Ops: Rogue Book Review

By Eden Finley

Rating: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 (4.9/5 stars)

Mike Bravo Ops: Rouge is book two in the Mike Bravo Ops series. I was looking forward to Rogue’s story, which was well worth the wait. I should warn you that this book review will be all over the place, but as you read itβ€”you’ll get the picture.

My Thoughts on the Book

Once again, Eden Finley delivers a light-hearted, fun, action-packed, sexy readβ€”just like she did in Iris’ book. Travis was a bit more serious; in the first book, I caught a small glimpse of his playful side, but in Mike Bravo Ops: Rogue, he was a thoroughly amusing lead. Of course, Rogue is a well-respected leader but is also as sweet as pie. He was undoubtedly not the no-nonsense Travis we knew. Usually, this bothers me because I don’t like my character to change when their book is written. Still, I felt that this was his personality all along.

Rogue and Dylan met and had a one-night stand and met up again. While Travis wants Dylan, he does not want to get involved with Travisβ€”mostly because he is out to prove himself, and Travis is always doing something to upset him. Of course, any attention that Travis can get is golden.

Trav is a freaking awesome badass but is softer and silly in this book. Of course, the other fellows were prominent in the book, and as his nature, Iris was a real trip…funny as ever. I love the banter between the fellows. The book is action-packed, steamy, and hilarious. Almost Perfect…Except

What did I not like about the book??? Maybe just one or two things…they are badass operatives, but I feel like they didn’t have the upper handβ€”the bad guys did. Second, Dylan had years of experience as a DEA agent, but I didn’t get that from him; he seems like a naΓ―ve rookie.

Favorite Quote

Dylan: “You shouldn’t be called Mike Bravo, you should be Overgrown Frat Boys with Weapons.”
Rouge: β€œI tried that. Didn’t fit on the business card”.

Final Thoughts

I know I’ve said this before, but this was a fun, thrilling romantic suspense novel that keeps you laughing and on edge throughout. I would most definitely recommend this well-written book to MM Romance readers. Eden Finley fans will NOT be disappointed.
