Wolf Sons of Sangue Book 7 Review
By Patricia A. Rasey
I wrote this review, and it was pretty good, but I lost everything before posting it, so here goes another version.
I love the Sons of Sangue series from the moment I read the first book, and I ended up binge-reading every book in a week. After reading Ryder’s book and was blown away, I was interested to see if the author, Patricia A. Rasey can do it again with Wolf’s book. To read Ryder’s Book Review click here==>Ryder Sons of Sangue Book 6 Review. Let me tell you; she didn’t disappoint me; Wolf Sons of Sangue was freaking amazing. I was right, the Sons of Sangue series keeps getting better and better, and Wolf was worth the wait. Patricia A. Rasey never disappoints me–another home run for her.
Grigore “Wolf” Lupei left Caitlyn 15 years ago to have her music career, see he didn’t want to hold her back, and he knew that Cait would have chosen him over her music. Now, Cait’s life is threatened by a possible fan; Wolf spared no time in getting to Caitlyn on tour to protect her and keep her safe. Let’s face it; when your life is in danger, no one can protect you more than a man who loves you and is also a predator. The two of them found that they never stopped loving each other, and so the story begins…
I love a good “second chance” romance and this one was just perfectly written. Wolf Sons of Sangue was the perfect book for me…hello…second chance romance, paranormal romance, and MC Romance—perfect combination.
Let’s talk about how perfect the plot(s) were. First, let me say I love Vlad (not to take away from Cait and Wolf’s story), but the plot between him and his brother kept me reading the book to find out what would happen. I couldn’t stop turning the pages, and seeing the other Sons of Sangue members from their perspective was just perfect. Don’t get it twisted; the plot to kill Cait was real, bullets will fly, and blood will spill, and this is what keeps me turning the pages.
I wanted to know who was bold and stupid enough to want to kill Caitlyn even after Wolf comes on the scene…and I wanted Wolf to suffer a bit. Now, I understand his reason for leaving Cait, but I felt he should have given her a chance to make her own decisions…so yeah, just a little more torture would have been perfect.
Wolf’s book was suspenseful, romantic, well-written, jam-packed with chemistry, and will keep you at the edge of your seat. You will devour this book in one sitting.
What is so amazing about Patricia’s writing is that’s she understands her characters on another level (as if she is there) and knows exactly what her fans need, and she delivers – every time. FAN FOR LIFE!!
I would have liked more steamer sex scenes, and that is the only complaint I have about this book – but that is because I love about 50% of the books I read to be just graphic sex…let’s face it, that’s not realistic and can take away from the story, but I still want it…I want what I want.
I highly recommend this book to all readers who love paranormal MC Romance and any contemporary romance.
You will not be disappointed.
I cannot wait for Vlad’s Book…BRING IT!!
