If you’ve been here a while, you already know I don’t show up the same way every season.
Truth? Before July, I took a break from blogging. Life got in the way, my brain needed quiet, and Raunchy Reads had to sit on the shelf for a quick minute… but can’t pick up until you’re ready.
And then July hit, and I came back like: okay, let’s do this.
So, this post is a little end-of-year recap, a little “ohhh just wait until you see what I’m planning next.”
What I posted on Raunchy Reads in 2025
The comeback era (July + August)

This is where I shook the dust off and got right back into my favorite things: high heat, big feelings, and book boyfriends with questionable decision-making skills.
Here’s what dropped during the summer comeback:
- Sweet Reckoning Review
- 10 Best Age Gap Romance Novels That’s Fire
- 10 Must-Read Paranormal Romance Authors
- 9 Dark & Spicy Romance Books
- The Marriage Policy Book Review
- 10 Dark Romance Books For Fall
- 5 Romance Tropes Readers Can’t Resist
- Stubborn Puckboy Review
Fall mood (September + October)

Fall always makes me want something a little sharper—more edge, more tension, more don’t touch her energy. My favorite season…This is where the guides and genre talk really started to stack up:
- Paranormal Romance Series: 5 Addictive Picks
- Best Spicy MC Romance Picks
- Top 5 Romance Genres Readers Can’t Get Enough Of
- 5 Spicy Romance Subgenres

- Dark Stranger the Dream
- 5 Must-Read Romance Classics
- Best MC Romance Series to Binge In 2025
- Best Paranormal MC Romance: Wolves, Vamps, Magic
- Best MM MC Romance Books
This was also the season where I could feel the blog getting its rhythm back—like when you finally find the right reading playlist, and everything clicks for you.
November = guides, grit, and “add to cart”

November was a whole vibe: deeper lists, bigger tropes, and posts that basically say, “Here. You want this. Trust me.”

If you read even a few of these, you already know I was fully in my “let me organize your next obsession” era.
December went OFF (holiday chaos + high heat).

December on Raunchy Reads was basically me kicking down the door like, who’s ready to read something inappropriate under the Christmas lights?

What to expect in 2026 (because I’m ALL IN)
I’m keeping the same energy—but tighter, hotter, and more consistent.
Here’s what I’m focused on next year:
- More reviews (way more): not just lists—more “I finished this at 2 a.m., and I have THOUGHTS.”
- More trope guides that actually help: quick mood-picking posts for when you don’t want to read blurbs.
- More MC romance content: deeper series guides, reading orders, and themed recs (yes, including the soft-but-deadly biker types).
- More paranormal + darker romance corners: vampires, shifters, morally grey heroes, and the kind of danger that stays on-page.
- More M/M lists and recs: because the love stories hit different, and we’re not pretending otherwise.
- More seasonal stacks: holiday, summer, fall—because reading moods change and I want the blog to match that.
And most importantly: consistency.
I took my break, I needed it, and now? I’m ready.
And yes—if you’re the type who likes your romance with bite, heat, and feelings that get a little reckless… you’re going to eat in 2026.
A genuine thank you (because you didn’t have to be here)
If you read a post, clicked a list, left a comment, shared a link, or even just lurked quietly while building your TBR… thank you. You’re the reason this blog has a heartbeat.
I know what it’s like to find a book that hits at the exact right time—late night, phone screen dimmed, real life finally quiet for a second. If anything, I posted helped you find that kind of story this year, that makes me happy in a real way.
