Axel is a grumpy yet dreamy President of the Diablo Disciples MC. A single father since he was seventeen, Axel has fought to the top of the MC world, leading his club out of the mess left by his predecessor.

He’s ruthless when he needs to be, but beneath that tough exterior lies a man with a heart ready to be ignited by the right woman.

Scarlett

Scarlett is a smart-mouthed, tough young woman running from her past. A theft brought her into Axel’s world (well, she tried to steal from him), and their connection was instant and electric–maybe. Scarlett’s spirit shines bright despite being homeless and having nothing to her name.

She’s funny, fiery, and the perfect match for Axel, even if he initially thinks she’s too young to be with an old man like him.

V. Theia has outdone herself with this one—as always. Her ability to create characters that jump right off the page and a world that feels incredibly real is nothing short of amazing.

V. Theia’s writing style is a perfect blend of humor, tension, and heartfelt moments, which made it impossible to put Axel and Scarlett down.

My Thoughts on the Book

I was hooked from the very first page. The chemistry between Axel and Scarlett is off the charts, and their banter is absolutely hilarious. Scarlett’s inner monologue had me laughing out loud, and the tension between them kept me on the edge of my seat. It’s not just about the steamy scenes (though those are definitely hot!); it’s about the emotional journey and the growth of their relationship. V. Almost Perfect…Except

While the book was nearly perfect, there were a few minor points where the plot felt a bit predictable. However, the strong character development and engaging dialogue more than made up for it. And honestly, the few predictable moments didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment of the story.
